Tourist Park
The Tourist Park in Cavallino-Treporti is an oasis of rare beauty. A few km from the romantic and unique city of Venice, you can admire the sunrise in front of the beach or the sunset on the lagoon. Fishing boats leave the Cavallino-Treporti port even before the sun rises to sail the Adriatic, while on the other side the nets on the sandbank of the lagoon are lowered. These are the two ways to pick the fruits of nature that this heterogeneous territory offers.
Dunes and pinewood
In these 15 km of land you can enjoy a sandy beach with shallow waters, modern and equipped, and also careful to respect and preserve the places. The dunes and the pinewoods are protected but public areas: so you can always go through them in respect of plants and animals that live there. There are various itineraries that can be done on foot or by bicycle.
The coast of Cavallino-Treporti is a strip of land protected by the Environmental Heritage to preserve the flora and the fauna that have found here their most suitable habitat. The dunes are small and fragile ecosystems in which various types of plants and animals live. The sea rocket and the wheatgrass and many others, to name a few. There are also various types of animals: from the Kentish plover that nests here, to the European green toad and the Italian wall lizard. The leap of a fish from the water, the call of the pink flamingos nesting here, the slow but continuous work of fishermen with their nets.
